'The Enthusiast'
Keith Currington
Keith studied Furniture Design and Technology at the London College of Furniture. Since then, his professional life has been dedicated to the furniture industry; first in retail then manufacturing. Best known today for his love of upholstery.
In 1992 Keith started his first business with an objective to achieve the most efficient route from raw materials to retailer. His daily mantra has always been ‘Add Value’. Once you comprehend what this passion for added value means to him, you understand the purpose of our business.
Keith insists that we have no particular, grand secret behind our successes. “We simply have 1,000 tiny details that we take care of every day with every customer and every product.
His other passion in life will be familiar to all who know Keith: Vintage and Classic Cars: He almost always has a restoration project underway in his workshop at home.

'The fixer'
Anthony Holloway
Anthony joined a furniture retailer as a part-time salesman as a teenager. He quickly adopted a love of the ‘Home’ sector. Quickly moving on from the provinces to take his chances in London, he worked in Oxford Street for a major retailer and after a few, successful, whirlwind years, was offered a senior position within a national buying group.
Anthony joined us 13 years ago as Sales Manager, he is now a Director and the primary point of contact for many of our customers.
In his private life Anthony has strong family values and knows his priorities: Juggling business needs with family life is a constant challenge, but he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Anthony’s passion for rugby, cars and motorsport has been temporarily suspended but he remains hopeful that his children can join him at Silverstone and Twickenham to share his passions.

'The Linchpin'
Sharon Wicks
Sharon is our Financial Director, Office Manager and the ‘Go To’ person for almost everything behind the scenes. It is generally accepted that if a job crops up that we don’t know who should do it; it finds its way to Sharon’s desk.
She has worked with Keith for over 24 years and is responsible for all areas of our business administration (plus much more). Starting as an Accounts Clerk, Sharon then studied to become a member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
‘My daily focus is to ensure our office team remain committed to providing an efficient and friendly administration service to all our customers. Our objective is to continually improve the service we provide customers and the administrative support we give to Keith, Anthony & Ewa.’
In her personal life Sharon is a keen runner and long-distance walker, often challenging herself to some tough endurance events. Sharon also has a permanent supply of treats in her drawer for when one of our team-member’s canine friends come bouncing into the office.

‘The Linguist’
Ewa Zacharewicz
Ewa joined Primavera UK in 2017 and quickly became a highly valued contributor to our team. Her official title relates to Sales Support.
However, Ewa is extremely flexible and helps us in numerous other areas. She is also an important link between the UK and our production partners with a hands-on approach to make sure things get done.
Her linguistic skills are extremely impressive; if any of us need to know how to spell a word or how best to phrase something, we readily ask Ewa. Even more impressive is that English is only one of three languages Ewa speaks fluently.
The others being Polish and Russian.
In her spare time Ewa’s interests are around healthy living and healthy eating.
Ewa also has a strong interest in fashion, and we frequently turn to her for assistance when it comes to fabric selection. She is also a valued contributor to our design meetings, and alongside daily contact with our customers, this is easily one of her favourite functions.

‘The Technician’
Karen Barlow
Karen assists the factory and customers with all things related to product compliance and testing. Her background in wholesale banking compliance was a great grounding for this important area of our business.
Her CV also includes an impressive list of blue-chip companies.
On behalf of our partners, Karen helps manage their compliance-related data, coordinating with our partner manufacturers and their various suppliers to help maintain a reliable testing schedule/database.
She also liaises with several accredited test laboratories, overseeing compliance documentation.
In her spare time Karen is passionate about animal husbandry, especially in connection with the many rescue tortoises she takes into care.
Her dog is another passion as is a keen interest in vintage clothing and music.

(if only the Devil could cast his net!)
The Admin Angels
The ‘Admin Angels’ are the hidden backbone of our business. Busily working behind the scenes, they always find light and good cheer to brighten their days. Sarah, Donna, and Abigail, are all classic examples of fabulous multi-taskers. They all help each other according to workload, often work beyond their official hours and they do it with a smile. If a truck arrives that needs unloading, they roll up their sleeves without a second thought. If we have customers visiting, or the phone rings; they manage in an instant to put on their Angelic façade. – Keith, however, is convinced that they all have a background in the Marine Corps! Their resilience to some demanding times through COVID and, generally, their tenacious approach to finding solutions to get the job done, is as impressive as it is humbling.
In their private lives they are all animal lovers and some of their furry friends are occasional visitors to the office. They all love our products and each of them has a different favourite from our range.
