Our story
​
Furniture Services Ltd is the UK and Ireland Sales Office for our successful furniture manufacturing partners. We have been active in the UK market since 1992 with a full-service, sales office available to our supply partners and our UK customers alike.
Our reputation is for reliability, value for money, design resource, and an efficient, friendly service. We have our own in-house sales team who are fully employed by us (not sub-agents) and have been with us for many years.
We are an effective, high quality, direct-to-retailer sales and after-sales provider, with our manufacturing partners based in various countries outside the UK.
Retailer orders are usually delivered direct from our partner factory to our customer’s warehouse door.
We try to avoid using transportation hubs, wholesalers or anything that involves multiple handling.
This ensures that the finished product that leaves the factory QC table, arrives quickly at the retailer’s warehouse in the same fresh condition it departed the workbench. We also pay particular attention to good packaging standards.
We do our best to encourage retailers to come and meet our team behind the scenes before placing their first display orders.
We find that this helps establish a better feeling for our unique business. Our showroom is easily accessible – by advance appointment - to trade visitors.
We are a trade-only supplier and have no infrastructure to deal directly with individual members of the public. This means that any consumers who contact our UK office or the factory directly, will be elegantly guided to their nearest stockist.
Our identity and sales success within the UK furniture trade has grown around our high standard of sales support and general service. We also have a very well presented, trade only showroom near Milton Keynes where we display up to fifteen upholstery groups to a high standard. We endeavour to change and update the showroom frequently, so as to maintain a fresh reason for our customers to visit us.
The best feedback on our company comes from our customers, and we encourage contact with them so that new retailers and manufacturing partners can take independent references.
We are very well established throughout the UK and Ireland, and any new customer will quickly be able to find a fellow, non-competitive retailer who is a customer and will be willing to give feedback regarding both our sales activity, our good service and our general, willing support.
